To feel capable, competent, and be able to detach emotionally.
Ideas. Analyzing how the world works.
I thrive on “me time.” I need private time to process, think and focus on what’s important to me. I am intelligent, knowledgeable, observational, perceptive and self-sufficient. I have a rich inner dialogue – my most important relationship is with my thoughts and ideas. I feel safe in my head. I keep my life simple, without a lot of obligations. I like to be independent. I’d rather observe a situation than be in the middle of it. I detach from my emotions and compartmentalize them so I can process them privately later.
Core Belief: I must be self-sufficient and conserve my resources so other people’s demands don’t deplete me.
At Work: I tend to manage by remote control. People look to me to analyze and solve problems. Team members may see me as being stingy with information.
