Stacy Sims understands what it feels like to be going through all the motions of life without joy and ease; to feel stuck in a stress loop without the tools to integrate mind and body. She shares what she has learned from her own experience with addiction and anxiety and what she has learned working as an integrative wellness entrepreneur for more than two decades.
Stacy is the founder of City Silence, an international network of community mindfulness gatherings; Mindful Music Moments, an innovative school program combining mindfulness and music; and the True Body Project, an award-winning trauma-informed wellness program to help girls and women, men and boys connect to their best selves and each other. Sims is a also a novelist, playwright and author of mindfulness-inspired children’s books. She leads workshops on trauma and the body, mindfulness and stress reduction in the U.S. and abroad.
Through the lens of mindfulness, meditation, movement and embodied empathy practice, Stacy helps groups and individuals cut through the mental clutter and resistance patterns to create powerful simple, daily practices.
